Posting Summary: The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia is seeking a full-time IT Project Manager 2. The incumbent in this position manages and oversees complex technology projects by analyzing a variety of business and technical problems to formulate and deliver new and modified information systems that contribute to our customers' success. The incumbent builds and leverages effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within the School of Medicine, across grounds, and with external vendors.
The incumbent also serves as a liaison and works with counterparts at NOVANT Health System on project related matters, including IT issues related to new systems and interfaces.
In addition, the incumbent manages a high volume of inquiries and serves as subject matter expert for healthcare radiology imaging services via teleradiology.
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, computer science, or a related field. A High School Diploma and twelve years of increasingly responsible management administrative and/or computer science responsibility may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
Four years of increasingly responsible management, administrative, and/or computer science responsibility are required with a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Specific Experience: Extensive experience with a physician practice in a fast-paced healthcare/academic/information technology environment preferred.
