Department Name: 7H460:FAMILY AND COMMUNITY MEDICINE
Reporting directly to the Department Chair, this faculty physician will function as a full-time faculty member of the UK Department of Family and Community Medicine. This physician will work at our large Family Medical Center(a NCQA Level 3 PCMH) and at two UK Hospitals, along with 20 other faculty physicians and 22 family medicine residents and fellows.
This position will require a dedicated professional who will advance excellence in patient care, teaching, and related innovations. Teaching responsibilities and opportunities may include instruction of medical students, residents, fellows and colleagues. Our faculty members are critical to the overall success of our institution, and service on pertinent committees at the level of the department, college of medicine, university and/or UK Healthcare levels may be included as negotiated with the department chair.

MD, DO or equivalent
Required Related Experience:
Completion of residency in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics. Demonstrated ability in patient care and teaching.
Required License/Registration/Certification :
Board-eligible or certified in Family Medicine or combined Medicine/Pediatrics, and able to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine state of Kentucky.
