If you're the kind of person who wants to bring your contribution to a new level every day, find out more.Primary Responsibilities:Manage administrative intake of members Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and / or providersProcess incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census rolesAssist the clinical staff with setting up documents / triage cases for Clinical Coverage ReviewHandle resolution / inquiries from members and / or providers
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)2+ years of professional experience in an office / customer service setting1+ years of experience with Medical TerminologyMust have a quiet designated work space and access to install secure high speed internet (minimum speed 1.5 download mps and 1 upload mps) via cable / DSL in home (NOTE: wireless / cell phone provider, satellite, microwave, etc... does NOT meet this requirement)Ability to work 10:00 am - 6:30 pm CST Monday through Friday and the flexibility to work outside standard business hours (rotating weekends)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or higher)Experience working within the healthcare industry, hospital, physician's office or medical settingKnowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes and Medicare / Medicaid services Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
