Reporting Analyst II
Prepares reports and extracts for internal and external clients in order to support research, QA/QI and grant projects of high complexity with minor supervision.
Establishes and creates a positive project team environment through collaboration.
This position will work closely with directors, managers, end-users, statistical programmers, researchers and other technical staff to provide data acquisition, data management, analysis, reporting, consulting and training on projects of high complexity with minor supervision. Manages some aspects of projects, with direct oversite.
Reviews for completeness, correctness and consistency of data and data structure with little supervision. Ensures secure and high integrity data integration.
Assists with the automation of manual processes. Prepares data collection forms in software such as REDCap or Epic of high complexity with minor supervision.
Handles analysis and research studies that revolve around decision making. Utilizes necessary tools to prepare reports and databases for the purpose of creating reports of high complexity with minor supervision.
Adheres to and coordinates with IRB, OSP, and other quality and research project data requirements.
Configure security and access appropriately to programs such as REDCap and i2b2, as allowed by the permissions granted by the governing bodies. Utilizes i2b2 appropriately.
Participates in all phases of software lifecycle development, particularly in the determination of data collection needs, reporting analysis, development, testing documentation and implementation on projects of high complexity with minor supervision.
Mentors levels of teammates at a lower level of complexity, methodology, tools or software.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience. Masters or PhD in a field indicating complex analytical thinking may substitute for some experience.
Demonstrated ability to work with highly complex projects and methodologies with highly complex tools/software environments with no supervision. Healthcare information technology experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required. Detail oriented, strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze, diagnose, suggest and implement process modifications. Strong customer service orientation and ability to follow through issues to resolution. Ability to interact with people from all organizational levels and build consensus through negotiation and diplomacy. Ability to be flexible, versatile and adaptable in day to day activities.
Epic Clarity Database, Epic Reporting Workbench, Epic Radar, or other application or reporting tool certification or formal proficiency required in a minimum of two areas.
