The Office of Real Estate, Planning and Space Management is currently recruiting for a Facilities Planner. The selected candidate will inventory space and evaluate its utilization to promote efficiency and support the University's various planning efforts. This position will also provide planning support related to: capital budgeting; facilities master planning; historic preservation; exterior signage; streetscaping; facilities program planning and real estate activities such as leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and development.

Maintain the University's space inventory system including regular inspection to ensure accurate space coding of occupancy, square footage and use; review floor plans for accuracy and provide corrections to CADD technician.
Consult with various campus entities such as Facilities Management, school leadership, and University Counsel to provide facilities planning services to address the University's space and facilities needs.
Review, discuss, and provide advice/feedback regarding leasing agreements, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, historic preservation efforts, and property development agreements.
Prepare relevant reports, statistics, and analyses of campus facilities and space.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in regional or urban planning, architecture, or field of study relevant to the position. Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience preferably in space inventory and management, facilities master planning, real estate, or urban planning, architecture, or other related field.
Licensure/Certification : n/a
Other: No substitution of experience for minimum education requirement.
