ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Alumni Association, Provides comprehensive administrative support for the Alumni Outreach team including the Director of Alumni Outreach, the Associate Director of International Outreach, and three Alumni Affairs Officers in Regional Programs including drafting and preparing correspondence to alumni, volunteers and staff; monitoring budgets; and troubleshooting technical issues such as assisting volunteers with accessing links based on web and online. Maintains and updates domestic and international club sub-communities using iModules' Encompass platform. Coordinates signature regional outreach events such as Summer Send-off and IAP events. Manages logistics for select regional alumni events and assists with preparation for team members' travel. This includes making room reservations, preparing name badges, event travel packs and group itineraries.
REQUIRED: a high school diploma; three years' experience, preferably in a university or nonprofit setting; ability to work effectively despite interruptions in a team- and service-oriented environment; strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; detail-orientation; ability to work independently on some projects; database experience; and proficiency in a Windows NT environment and experience with MS Word, Excel, FileMaker Pro, PowerPoint, HTML or InDesign, Outlook, Drupal, and iModules' Encompass platform.
