Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Appalachian State University Seeks a positive and motivated Food Service Assistant to work in The Bake Shop campus.
Perform work in vegetable processing.
Operate machinery and cut produce by hand.
Produce includes lettuce, onions, peppers, tomatoes, pineapple, carrots, etc.
Assist with delegation of work to students as well as paperwork for the unit.
Maintain a clean area by sanitizing, mopping, sweeping, taking out the trash and bailing cardboard.
