The Community 4 All project at Syracuse University is looking to add several members to its Self-Advocacy team. The Community 4 All project is federally funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). The Community 4 All project is creating tools to promote self-advocacy, community living, choice and control among persons with intellectual disability. The project's tools focus on lifelong learning, relationships, community participation, self-advocacy, community living, and digital communities. The incoming Self-Advocates will work with the team to refine present and past tools and work to create new tools.
This position is a temporary, part-time position that is not expected to exceed 10-15 hours a week and run through September 2019.
