The George Mason University Department of Police and Public Safety invites applications for the position of Physical Security Technical Coordinator. The Physical Security Technical Coordinator is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and installation of current and future electronic physical security hardware and equipment at George Mason University. This position will also be responsible for keeping records of work completed and inventory used, as well as supervision of the Access Control Technical Team.
High school diploma or equivalent; and
Experience with installation and repair of commercial alarm, card access systems and/or CCTV systems.
Demonstrated experience with security-related hardware and controls;
Experience with work order systems;
Experience with Exacq CCTV systems;
Experience with RS2 Access Control systems;
Knowledge of the following access control hardware: Precision, Von Duprin, Sargent, Altronix, PERSONA and Stanley Hardware; and
Knowledge of the following security camera systems: Pelco, Axis, Arecont, Samsung and Hikvision.
Candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check.
Salary: Mid- to high-50,000s; commensurate with education and experience.
