Florida Hospital Orlando seeks to hire a Liaison who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,107-bed Florida Hospital Orlando, serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. Florida Hospital Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year.
Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm
The overall goal of the Liaison is to facilitate Institute of Surgical Advancement (ISA) physician activities. The Liaison will work with ISA physicians and the Director of ISA to help develop programs which will accelerate innovation, promote quality and safety, and aid in attracting and retaining world class physicians. This is accomplished through networking with the physician to understand programmatic activities that can elevate the physician and Florida Hospital as an innovator and leader in clinical care. The ISA Liaison will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to assess current key ISA programs and helping to develop a roadmap which will include conferences and training events, center of excellence programs such as case observations, marketing materials to include video or media needs, business development, speaking opportunities media opportunities, product development and research activities within the InnovatOR Suite and Wet lab, as well as, identifying potential industry partnerships. The Liaison will execute on program deliverables helping to identify gaps and remove barriers for physicians to develop world class programs. The ISA Liaison will be responsible for helping to develop program goals and will gather the information/data to track and monitor ISA activity to ensure that the objectives are met. He/she will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Basic medical and healthcare background with the ability to work comfortably in a surgical and interventional environment
Ability to interact appropriately with the department/teams to facilitate ISA activities
Strong organization, communication and customer skills
Skilled and comfortable in discussing surgical/clinical techniques
Skilled and comfortable in developing ISA programs by working with physicians and team
Great follow-through and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
Event planning skills
Three to five years of experience in the healthcare, hospital, or physician private practice field
Project/program management experience
Project management skills (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, excel, PowerPoint and word) (preferred)
Data analysis knowledge (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, or a Business field (preferred)
Multi-specialty exposure (preferred)
Marketing, Business development experience (preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse. (preferred)
Clinical program certification (preferred)

Facilitates ISA activities, Center of Excellence programs, case observations, training and education, and research activities.
Participates and coordinates any wet lab activities as needed. Participates and coordinates any InnovatOR Suite activities, tours, research, etc.
Helps to identify new ISA physicians. Helps to assess current ISA physician programs (by identifying gaps and barriers).
Facilitates, coordinates and executes on ISA program activities as outlined in the physician ISA yearly roadmap.
Completes data collection with appropriate information in a timely and efficient manner regarding ISA program activities.
Helps to develop program measures and track to deliverables as outlined each year.
Researches and knowledgeable on new techniques and trends related to ISA physicians.
Works to support any additional Creation Conference Center, ISA, or NCSA activities as needed. Stays current on healthcare trends by attending meetings, reading publications, etc. Must have knowledge of and follow all hospital policies related to any ISA activities.
