PeaceHealth is seeking a Program Coordinator, Bellingham, Med Staff Services for a 1.0 full time equivalent Exempt position. This position will be working Day shift with shift durations of 8 Hours .

Provides coordination and management of Medical Staff peer review infrastructure, process and projects.
1. Serves as a resource specialist to Medical Staff regarding all peer review case analyses.
2. Maintains confidentiality of information to ensure maximum legal protection from discoverability.
3. Creates design of plan for peer review access database by defining and facilitating all enhancements working closely with Data Administrator.
4. Supports the integration of process improvements across system and community Medical Staff peer review.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience.
Master's degree preferred.
Two years of Q.I. project management and/or change management experience required.
Two years peer review coordination/experience required.
Prior clinical acute care case management experience preferred.
Current license/certification/registration as required by State for area clinical practice is strongly preferred.
Proficient with MS Office applications
Project management skills required.
Knowledge of Joint Commission (or equivalent) and Department of Health standards preferred.
Basic statistical experience required; must be able to operationalize statistical and database concepts.
Multi-specialty nursing background preferred.
ST JOSEPH PHSYICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Work requires light physical exertion including sitting 67-100% of the time.
Ability to seldomly lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs
Work is performed under normal working conditions with adequate lighting and ventilation.
Duties require the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail 80-95% of work time.
