The Specialty Service Coordinator will function as a liaison between the organization leadership and specialty areas to improve communication, operations and collaboration around shared resources. They would be the point person for specialty and population specific areas to coordinate discussions and processes around clinical space, equipment, and other essentials to provide services. This role will be responsible for providing a process that will ensure seamless access into specialty care, and a quality patient experience. As the Specialty Service Coordinator, monitoring of the various data collection methods to assure the achievement of position scopes and goals, and continuous assessment of capacity and productivity will be a priority.
Ensure smooth execution of the day-to-day operations of the 15 specialty clinic.
Prepare monthly productivity reports and ensure accuracy of data entry and databases.
Identify and communicate priorities, timeliness and accountabilities to ensure efficient use of resources and to promote an open productive work environment.
Assist with project staff and collaborate with clinical staff to provide exceptional customer service and quality patient care.
Adhere to Department’s Documentation Policy of all Patient Encounters and Forms.
Optimize clinic hours to enhance productivity.
Develop tools to support staff and enhance efficiency.
Conduct routine supply and equipment rounds to prevent disruption to clinic functions.
Serve as a liaison to internal and external committees and serve as a member of the safety committee
Collaborate with clinic teams and project managers to facilitate engagement, and re-engage of clients that miss appointments.
Ensure that patient dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Promote and encourage communication within the organization and between facilities to maximize patient access.
