We are now hiring for a temporary, full-time Job Developer to join our Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) Team! This temporary, full-time position will last for approximately 60-90 days.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides outreach to engage targeted caseload of job ready clients.
Assists clients with employment readiness training and job search assistance.
Assists job ready clients to obtain permanent, unsubsidized jobs in high demand industries.
Develop and foster professional relationships with employers to ensure consistent contact for job leads within the community based on the assessed needs of the clients.
Design and develop employment service marketing program with assistance from supervisor.
Works within contract, grant, and program requirements including meeting timelines and reporting requirements.
Maintains strong relationships between the program and employers of agency clients to ensure the employer's overall satisfaction with the program and clients who are their employees.
Performs situational assessments and vocational explorations.
Observes and documents consumers vocational assets and limitations.
Ability to engage in competitive employment.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Business Administration, or related filed from an accredited institution
AND at least 3 years of training or demonstrated experience in a related area.
Knowledge of building collaborative relationships with employers and community.
Great communication skills.
Ability to collaborate and lead workforce development employment opportunities
Must have access to a vehicle to perform the essential functions of the job; valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
