Provide office support to all county program areas including Solid Waste/Recycling, Agriculture and Natural Resources, 4-H Youth Development, and Family and Consumer Sciences; assist with the fiscal operations of the office, including the maintenance and reconciliation of appropriated and non-appropriated funds; provide a broad range of basic to complex office and fiscal services relating to document preparation, banking, scheduling, reception, fielding questions, and work flow; provide office support and technical assistance for county program staff, including producing letters, newsletters, memos, reports, and other correspondence, as well as front-line customer service to clientele; contribute to a high level of customer service to county clientele by greeting and serving at front counter and responding to and/or directing incoming phone calls to the appropriate staff member; oversee general office operations including, but not limited to: preparation of correspondence, making copies, preparing program materials, county reports, maintaining inventory of office supplies, and maintaining files and records; assist with planning educational programs by securing location, ordering supplies and catering items as needed; provide support to 4-H programming by assisting with the 4-H volunteer process and new volunteer applications including reference requests; assist with 4-H Online enrollment and 4-H project book ordering; support the Master Gardener volunteer program by managing fiscal requests, program marketing, planning of the Master Gardener workshop, and locating resources; interact with other county entities that collaborate with OSU Extension and their programs.

Six months of experience (600 hours of training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex; six months of experience (600 hours of course work) in office practices and procedures; six months of experience (600 hours of course work) in customer service.
Knowledge of OSU Extension programs; formal training and/or previous experience with accounting and financial systems; computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint); ability/willingness to learn new software as needed; strong organizational and communication skills.
Target Salary: $11.10 - $13.50 Hourly
