Includes claims systems utilization, capacity analyses / planning and reporting. Includes claims-related business and systems analysis. Ensures data integrity, data security and process optimization.Primary Responsibilities:Provide expertise claims support for all related aspects of claim system processes and claim business ruleEnsure data integrity, data security and process optimization by identifying trends and provide reports as necessaryOversee all aspects of quality assuranceFacilitate development of process documentation including process mappingUse pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others.Basic, structured, standard approach to work.Makes decisions on basic updates needing to be made without guidanceGives input on decisions involving development of macros and prioritizationAble to escalate problems out of scope to more senior staffProblem solvingRoot cause analysis
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED or higher Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and debugging concepts1+ years of relevant coding experience (Macro Express, VBScript, VBA, .NET, etc.) or equivalentExperience with MS Excel - creating and editing data on a spreadsheetIntermediate experience with MS Access - archiving and creating databasesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higherAbility to create and maintain End User Macros with limited helpAbility to manage multiple projectsExperience MS SharePoint – retrieving and inputting documentsCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
