Involves providing a variety of IT services. Assignments may include database administration, application programming, IT project management, systems administration, systems and process analysis, security, solution development and maintenance, business technical support or a combination of these and / or other IT functions. Note: If 50% or more of the position is in a defined function, the position should be placed in that function.
Applies professional concepts, department / unit and campus / medical center / OP policies and procedures to resolve a variety of complex issues in one or more IT areas of specialization. Analyzes complex issues. Within defined procedures and practices, determines appropriate action.
Responsibilities include: - Build and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient application infrastructure for SAP Business Objects/Infoview - Automate deployment, monitoring, management and incident response - Monitor application stability and performance and troubleshoot site issues - Collaborate with developers and business analysts to bring new features and services into production - Develop and improve operational practices and procedures - Proactively meet standards for information security and compliance,
Background & Experience: - Experience in 24x7 production operations, preferably Business Objects / Infoview - Experience with cloud infrastructure environments, preferably AWS - Release automation (Jenkins, etc), system administration, system configuration - Experience with (Ruby, Python, etc), configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, etc) - Strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques

Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience / training.
Broad knowledge of various areas of IT.
Advanced skills associated with programming design, modification and implementation. Basic knowledge of secure software development. Demonstrated ability to create software specifications.
Demonstrated ability to install software and troubleshoot and repair moderately complex problems with computing devices, peripherals and software. Understanding of and experience troubleshooting client, server and peripherals-related issues and actions that can be taken to improve or correct performance. Experience in incident response and digital forensics, including data collection, examination and analysis.
Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions. Knowledge of the design, development and application of technology and systems to meet business needs.
