Candidates should have an earned doctorate in Education; ABDs who will earn a doctorate within one year of initial appointment will be considered. Candidates must be able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in an elementary and/or secondary education program and supervise clinical experiences. Preferred qualifications include a commitment to community engagement and student experiential learning and research interests related to P-12 education and/or teacher preparation. Preferred qualifications also include research interests related to P-12 schooling (broadly defined) and/or teacher preparation, and an interest in collaborating with the P-12 educational community. Research with undergraduate students is expected and supported. Evidence of effective teaching, publication, and record of service will be required for tenure and promotion.
