Advertised Summary Job Description: ColumbiaDoctors is seeking an individual to serve as Assistant Director of Physician Relation Services to assist in the coordination and management of the expansion of our clinical services in Westchester and Rockland Counties. The individual will support strategic growth initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships and other physician alignment approaches assisting the Senior Director of Regional Services in executing strategies; oversee operations of various ambulatory projects and vendor/consultant relationships, as needed. The individual will focus on efforts to assure the successful establishment of new ColumbiaDoctors practices in the communities of Westchester and Rockland counties as well as work closely with established practices to deliver a high quality healthcare service. Acting as a liaison for ColumbiaDoctors physicians practicing in the assigned geographic region, the individual will establish meaningful relationships with that will assist in assuring the success and growth of our presence in the community.
General Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus five years of related experience.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of business development and project management in healthcare required - Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and relate to physician leadership, business leadership, senior management team and employees at all levels - Strong analytic capability and experience in producing in depth reporting and management information tracking operational efficiency, patient care quality, provider workflow efficiency. - Strong ethics and high level of personal and professional integrity - Must demonstrate excellent leadership, team building and well developed problem solving skills - Experience in the healthcare industry, working closely with healthcare providers - Has experience with program development implementation and evaluation - Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrate strong ability to work independently, with demonstrated situational fluency - Extensive experience and proven success with formulating, implementing and sustaining referral development efforts, and in building/expanding referral relationships. - Must have transportation to and from site visits and appointments, and be able to physically navigate access to and from various referent locations both within and outside of your assigned region.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's in Business Administration or Healthcare preferred.
