Posting Summary: The Cardiovascular Division in the Department of Medicine is seeking to fill the position of Applications Systems Analyst to provide systems administration support for research on physiological monitoring including: large-scale time series and other data acquisition. Duties include developing automated processes to manage collection and processing of real-time data, archive data in formats accessible to researchers, and to facilitate data sharing with other hospitals and research groups.
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering. A minimum of three years of experience with data science and/or mathematical and statistical analysis of time series data is required. Advanced degree in mathematics, computer science, data science or engineering is preferred, and may substitute for experience. Applicants must have knowledge on MS Windows, Matlab and LINUX.
This position is restricted and contingent upon the continuation of funding.
