Posting Summary: EdPolicyWorks is seeking candidates for the position of DCPS-UVA Research Partnership Project Research Rater for its Research Partnership Project between the District of Columbia Public Schools and UVA in Charlottesville, VA. Incumbents code videos of classroom instruction using established observation protocols. They also undertake analysis of research data and help transcribe audio recordings of professional development sessions, one-on-one feedback sessions, and teacher/administrator interviews
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree. K-12 classroom teaching experience is essential. The candidate must possess outstanding organizational and planning skills, the ability to multi task and pay careful attention to detail. The ability to work independently and interact collaboratively with a team is required, as is the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining professionalism. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and internet applications.
