The Supervisor Security maintains safe and secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures; supervising the security team.
Coordinates security operations by scheduling and assigning employees appropriately, interpreting and enforcing policies and procedures as needed, and establishing internal controls where necessary.
Participates in the selection process of new hires, as well as orienting and training new employees in the department as needed.
Effectively coaches, counsels and disciplines employees when needed.
Prepares and maintains security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends as needed.
Records observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities accurately in a timely manner.
Secures premises by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings, equipment and access points on a regular basis.
Prevents losses and damages by informing individuals of appropriate policies and procedures.
Comply with all applicable regulations.
Survey and test alarm systems as needed.
Appropriately respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
Conduct inspections as needed.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months security training
Valid driver's license
1-3 years security experience
1-3 years supervision experience
