Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving, the Annual Giving Officer assists with the planning, execution and evaluation of annual fundraising campaigns, with primary responsibility for managing successful fundraising efforts with alumni in reunion classes. Serves as the project leader for reunion class campaigns, works collaboratively with YLS field officers to recruit reunion gift committee volunteers and to generate leadership unrestricted gifts from the top prospects in each reunion class. Works closely with the Assistant Director of Marketing & Volunteer Engagement for Direct Marketing on the preparation and production of solicitation letters and emails specifically for reunion class alumni. Recruits, trains and provides proactive support to reunion gift committee volunteers to ensure their success in peer-to-peer solicitation efforts. Solicits and closes unrestricted gifts from an assigned pool of reunion year prospects. May perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Fundraising experience at a Law school or in higher education. Track record of successfully soliciting and closing charitable gifts. Experience with fundraising data collection and analysis. Drafting and disseminating solicitation materials experience. Proven facility with complex databases (Blackbaud products and Salesforce preferred), spreadsheets and statistics.
Required Licenses Or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree. Three years of related experience in a fund-raising capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
