THISPOSITION IS A TENURE-TRACKFACULTYPOSITION IN THEAREA OF HEALTHSERVICESRESEARCH TO SUPPORTTHEPROFESSIONALPHARM.D. ANDGRADUATEPROGRAMS AT THESCHOOL OF PHARMACY. THISPOSITIONWILLALSOCONTRIBUTESUBSTANTIALLY TO THERESEARCHMISSION OF THESCHOOL.
1.Teaching Faculty member will have teaching responsibilities in the areas of pharmacoeconomics, and other health-services research related disciplines. The faculty member will teach in the PharmD and graduate programs, as well as mentor graduate students in health-services research. 2.Research Faculty member will contribute to the scholarship mission of the School of Pharmacy by publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts and conducting collaborative practice based research.
3.Service Faculty member will serve on departmental, School, and/or University committees as necessary, as well as in a professional capacity in their field, e.g., reviewer, conference organizer, etc.
A Pharm.D. or PH.D. degree in a health-services research related discipline.
Record of publication and conference dissemination demonstrating expertise in the faculty area of research.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Teaching experience at the Pharm.D. level.
