St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU, St. Louis' NPR affiliate station, is seeking a dynamic and creative full-time Morning Host to join our team. If you're looking to apply your on-air hosting, interviewing, and production skills in a creative, agile environment where you can have a significant impact on the future of our public media organization – this is your opportunity.
Responsibilities include hosting our morning drive-time shift that includes NPR's Morning Edition and 1A , recording opens and closes for use on various platforms including NPR One, producing and editing promos, features, and other on-air production that may include preparing for and conducting live or recorded interviews for use during our regionally produced talk show St. Louis on the Air ( SLOTA ), and possibly serving as back-up host for SLOTA .
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired;
At least 2 years of on-air hosting.
A bachelor's degree in broadcast, communications or multi-media, specifically;
At least 5 years of experience in broadcast or production, with at least 3 years of on-air hosting.
