The Director Information Systems will provide strong technical leadership to assure the integrity, reliability, and security of the company's server based systems, storage and networks. Oversee the development, maintenance, operation and support of all hardware and software systems for the organization. Provide direction to improve information technology delivery and efficiency for the company by constantly analyzing and evaluating the systems. Maintain hardware and software security and ensure HIPAA security compliance. Identify business requirements and apply appropriate hardware and software technologies to meet requirements. Safeguard data by having solid backup, business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Manage vendor relationships in an effort to lower cost and improve service and support. Direct and supervise the activities and services of the server, network, application, support and document & imaging teams.
Bachelors degree required. Four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Six (6+) years IT experience with windows based technology and four or more years of administering HP, EMC, Cisco, Radware and Palo Alto equipment.
Technical requirements include 7 or more years of experience in the following: Active Directory, NAS/SAN, Database Servers (MS SQl),Email Servers, Cisco and HP network equipment/technology, Firewall equipment/Technology,Web filtering, HP Servers/Blade technology, Enterprise backup software (Avamar/Veeam), eFax software, Antivirus/spyware, Business continuity/disaster recovery, Systems security, Office 365, Box Cloud Storage
Two (2) years of Management experience (preferred)
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and retain employees.
Knowledge in wide variety of Protocols and storage technologies such as IP SAN iSCSI.
