This position will be responsible for providing logistical, administrative, and financial support to the Manager, HR and Finance. The incumbent supports the administration of Workday business processes. The primary administrator of the Schoolâ™s financial processes, staff liaison regarding Workday issues and works with Manager, HR and Finance to trouble shoot problems. Maintains budgets; reconciles accounts; prepares financial reports and requisitions. Position requires broad understanding of the practices and policies of the School of Public Health and the University and requires close attention to detail, orientation to a team work environment, ability to change priorities to address immediate needs, to problem solve and seek help when needed, work quickly and accurately, maintain professional decorum when faced with problems to solve, work with multiple professional staff including graduate students, post-docs, faculty, university departments and outside vendors.
Bachelorâ™s degree in Finance, Business or related discipline, with 2-3 yearsâ™ financial experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong computing proficiency preferred.
Experienced with excel, pivot tables, formulas, spreadsheets, and databases.
Budgeting experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail.
Team-oriented, collaborative and strong work ethic.
Ability to problem solve and prioritize multiple competing priorities effectively.
Work well as an individual and part of a high-performing team.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines.
This is a part-time, 25 hours per week position.
