Prepares Early Head Start Child Care Partnership fiscal documents: Budgets, SF-425 Reporting, Child Care Partner Expenditure Reports, Drawdown Requests, Non-Federal Share Match, etc.
Prepare and complete all accurate cash receipts and cash disbursement transactions and records.
Ensure accurate coding and documentation for all transactions for Early Head Start Child Care Partnership Program.
Prepare and complete all financial reports for Early Head Start Child Care Partnership Program requested by the Director and/or Assistant Manager of Business/Operations.
Coordinate and process all equipment purchases outlined with program budgets.
Assist Director in budget management and control.
Maintains, compiles, and collates Accounts Payables, Cash Receipts, and Accounts Receivable documentation for audits to be performed and prepares monthly bank reconciliation on all program bank accounts.
Prepares general journal entries as approved by the Director and/or Assistant Manager of Business/Operations.
Assist Business/Operations Assistant Manager with facility requests and projects.
Assist in updating agency’s overall inventory list to ensure compliance with funders.
Assist B/O Assistant Manager in replacing toner, drum units, and request for all agency printers and copiers.
Serve as back up for assistance with coordinating and processing all travel arrangements for CCR&R.
Assists in answering CCR&R agency incoming phone calls and checks voicemail.
Maintains documentation of all contracts to ensure accurate payment of contractual invoices.
Maintains required job skills and core professional competencies. Attends and participates in staff development programs and staff meetings including assistance with fund development.
Maintain confidentiality and high ethical practices and integrity.
Participate and attend Child Care Resource & Referral’s fund raising and advocacy events.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field.
2-3 Years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and computerized fiscal system. Preferably in a nonprofit setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability in skills required and cited for position of Fiscal Coordinator, i.e., governmental accounting procedures and practices and fund management.
Ability to relate fiscal information to programmatic issues
Have a strong knowledge of GAAP.
Ability to understand and apply funding source standards, policies, and procedures, and requirements to program business.
