UF Health Proton Therapy Institute (UFHPTI), located in Jacksonville, Florida, has an opening for a Research Coordinator to coordinate research studies and/or activities and to serve as the principal administrative liaison for designated research projects. Responsible for completing and maintaining regulatory documents as required by the study Sponsor, FDA and IRB. Individual will also prepare research reports, adverse events reports and enter protocol information into the research database. Responsibilities include assisting in the education of patient/family, physicians and staff with regard to research concepts and specific protocols.
Qualified candidate preferably have a minimum of one (1) year prior experience in research and nursing. Oncology experience, prior experience writing complicated documents and working in an academic setting preferred.. Knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice and principles along with knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations as they pertain to human subject clinical research required. Research certification a plus. Must be experienced in MS Office with proficiency in MS Access strongly preferred. College degree preferred. Must be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
