Join us and help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for ensuring quality / coordinated home care to clients served by the Home Health Agency under the direction of the Rehabilitation manager and in coordination with the other team members, the physician and client Responsible for making certain the home care provided is compliant with State and Federal Regulations (documentation and delivered are) Evaluate and treat patients with Speech therapy needs Strives to provide services that meet both internal and external customer's expectations Assures that the services provided are efficient and of value meeting the expectations of quality healthcare delivery within financial goals for both Southwest Medical and OPTUMcare Most of the work is done in patients homes and requires access to transportation throughout the community Communicate with primary care physician and care coordination team of nurses and other home care providers Set your own patient schedule for weekdays or weekends
Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Licensed Speech Therapist in State of Nevada CPR certified Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and / or patient sites within a designated area Preferred Qualifications: Home care experience 1+ years of Speech Therapy experience Experience with OASIS documentation Experience in a home health setting Weekend availability Careers with Optum.
