This is the place to do your life's best work.(sm) The Associate Director of Affordability directly evaluates the performance of OptumRx offerings to strengthen financial performance of pharmacy benefits for OptumRx customers. Primary Responsibilities:Work directly with internal business partners and pharmacies to develop, implement, and monitor program strategies to maximize the accuracy and completeness of Optum Rx Affordability initiatives for OptumRx customers Leverage pharmacy network performance metrics to develop new programs that best manage drug spend through integration with retail network pharmacies and other pharmacy care services teams Interpret statistical analysis, analytic modeling, and data visualization reports Identify current and future pricing trends using statistical analysis, analytic modeling, and data visualization techniques Demonstrate deep understanding of financial estimates and program performance for customers and pharmacies Advise internal partners in understanding network impacts to client drug benefit costs Engage with internal partners to explain financial analysis, reconcile model, and/or participate in negotiation with Network Management Promote best practice standards (e.g., pricing, methodology, tools, technologies, etc.) to applicable stakeholders Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet business timelines Direct others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functional areas
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, business Professional experience Experience in strategic development, program development, or relevant role Demonstrated ability to work well and collaboratively, with multiple teams or departments for business growth or profitability goals Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information Understanding of professional productivity tools (ex. Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel) Understanding of program management and value demonstration Understanding of financial modeling Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree (ex.
