This is the place to do your life's best work.The Network Account Representative is responsible for assisting in the full range of provider relations and service interactions within UnitedHealth Group, including working on end-to-end provider claim and call quality, ease of use of physician portal and future service enhancements, and training & development of external provider education programs. Network Account Representative assist in the design and implementation programs to build and nurture positive relationships between the health plan, providers (physician, hospital, ancillary, etc.), and practice managers. Other responsibilities include supporting those who direct and implement strategies relating to the development and management of a provider network, identify gaps in network composition and services to assist the network contracting and development staff in prioritizing contracting needs, and may also be involved in identifying and remediating operational short-falls and researching and remediating claims. The Network Account Representative will be responsible for a full range of provider relations support functions and service interactions within UHG. . Responsibilities include supporting the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Network Staff in their relationship management activities, including contract management, problem resolutions and credentialing. Triages and independently resolves provider related issues and escalates problems to Network Account Manager. Facilitates provider demographic updates. Prepares and executes provider contracts. Prepares and submits contractual updates. Facilitates the resolution of credentialing issues and coordinates and completes external and internal termination notification requirements. Responsible for logging information on various access databases. Researches and remediates issues provider loading issues on NDB. Assists with unit mailings, filing, and other duties as assigned.
