PeaceHealth is seeking a NOC Analyst - Network Operations Center for a 1.0 full time equivalent Non-Exempt position. This position will be working Evening shift with shift durations of 10 Hours .

Provides proactive monitoring and technical analysis of issues related to network, server and data center infrastructure. Identifies the correct course of action, resolve issues in a timely manner based on standard operating procedures or escalate to the appropriate party. Performs all functions within the NOC (Network Operations Center) as assigned.
Monitors information and network systems including telecommunications circuits, data center, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backups, operating systems and core applications. Responds to alerts and take appropriate actions per standard operating procedures.
Maintains the security of the datacenter facility, computing platforms and the data residing on those platforms. Follows procedures ensuring appropriate access to data center facility, systems and media in their control.
Monitors infrastructure and environmental alerts at multiple data center locations in disparate geographical locations and act promptly and accurately to resolve and escalate issues.
Provides escalation status notifications throughout the organization on service impacting events.
Performs incident management by coordinating resources for service impacting events.
Monitors ticket queue for incoming service requests and responds/resolve issues as required.
Helps to maintain and update the documentation used within the NOC.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Required unless otherwise stated
Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related field; may substitute equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience.
Minimum of 1 year of NOC or Data Center Operations work experience.
Experience with at least one or more of the leading monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Spectrum, Nagios, StruxureWare or Open Data.
Experience monitoring server, network and data center infrastructure and taking corrective action.
Experience with at least one of the enterprise backup solutions such as Networker, IBM Tivoli, Data domain etc.
Prior experience working in a dynamic NOC environment and capable of receiving input from multiple parties and correlating them into action items.
Microsoft MCSA certification or CISCO CCNA associate certification preferred.
ITIL foundation certification preferred.
Able to perform repetitive tasks consistently and accurately.
Able to cover variable shifts which may extend into weekends as required.
Basic knowledge of VMWare 5.1+ virtual center
Good working knowledge of server 2012 R2, knowledge of RDP, server management tools, monitoring disk space.
Basic network troubleshooting skills.
Basic knowledge of at least one UNIX operating system a plus.
Drive and attention to detail required to deliver consistent results with little or no direct supervision.
