The Patient Experience Representative (10 Northwest/Surgical Programs) will be responsible for:
Providing administrative support for 43 bed inpatient surgical unit and covering on other two surgical units as needed.
Interfacing with patients/families and staff to triage requests for information and services.
Organizing medical records, information, materials and supplies.
Serving as liaison to resolve equipment, supply, cleaning and safety issues.
Accessing hospital and department systems to enter and retrieve information.
Monitoring daily operations and communicating with clinicians and/or supervisor to maintain efficient patient/visitor flow.
Responding to requests for information and assistance, and providing general office support as required.
Providing positive and effective customer service and contributing to teamwork within and between departments.
Performing various administrative functions to support the operations of Surgical Programs.
To qualify, you must have:
A high school level education. Bachelor's degree preferred.
1 2 years of previous work experience. 2-3 years' experience in a hospital setting preferred.
The ability to interpret data and take appropriate action.
Excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal, and analytic skills.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office.
***This is a 16 hour/week position. Hours will either be two-eight hour days or four-four hour days per week. The days are flexible (Monday-Friday, day shifts), but will be fixed once the schedule is agreed upon.
