Eastern's Department of Physical Therapy seeks an experienced Operations Manager for its offices on the Spokane campus.
This position has a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including planning, budget development, personnel, payroll, purchasing, special project support, staff supervision and other administrative functions. The person hired for this position will need to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality, utilize delegated authority to make and implement plans, decisions, and commitments in areas related to department business operations.

Conditions of Employment
This position, during the course of university employment will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value; as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 16. Baccalaureate degree, preferably in management, business, or health sciences;
Minimum of three to five years progressively responsible administrative experience; to be considered qualifying, experience must include:
Work beyond entry level tasks, and which is characterized by complexity, overlapping deadlines, and independent responsibility for outcomes
Coordinating events, travel arrangements, and meetings;
Supervising or leading staff;
Fiscal or budgetary responsibilities;
Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks, seamlessly and with strong attention to detail
Excellent writing skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills;
Demonstrated ability to actively think ahead, anticipate upcoming needs, and propose solutions; effective decision making;
Must be self-directed, be able to work with minimum supervision and must be able to work both collaboratively and independently;
Able to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion;
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and calendaring tools; capable of managing and updating Program website, applications, and social networking tools as needed;
Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility and/or diversity.
Full time work experience in higher education, preferable in an academic program
Graduate degree, preferably in management, business, or health sciences;
