The University of Toledo (UT) College of Medicine and Life Sciences Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking board eligible or board certified Radiation Oncologists to join our faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on a tenure track. Rank will be commensurate with candidate’s experience. Candidates with strong interest in education and research are preferred as we are developing a radiation oncology residency and a clinical research program.
The Radiation Oncology Department is located in the Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. We are equipped with a state-of-the-art Varian True Beam linear accelerator, dedicated Varian Edge radiosurgery system, PET-CT simulator, and high dose rate brachytherapy plus an array of hardware and software for treatment planning and patient QA. Currently, there are eight full-time faculty members in the department. The department supports a CAMPEP- accredited medical physics residency program with four residents, and a medical physics graduate program offering both masters and Ph.D. degrees in radiation oncology. Faculty also participate in the training of medical students and medical oncology fellows.
