In this role, you'll be the lead for the Regional Network Managers and use your strong customer service orientation and analytical problem solving skills to serve as an advocate for providers in our networks. Primary Responsibilities:Provide lead support to Regional Network Managers in contracting and managing a network of behavioral physicians, clinicians and agenciesAct as a liaison to assist with timely resolution of operational issuesIdentify areas of improvement to allow system changes and enhancements to improve the provider experienceWork directly with Compliance Manager to facilitate fulfilling network contract requirementsMonitor access issues and identify gaps for members in receiving servicesMonitor provider activity to ensure continuity of care and contractual requirementsManage multiple projects/priorities with short deadlines In this role, you'll be part of a performance driven, fast paced organization that is serving multiple markets. You'll have frequent interactions with senior management and physicians as you communicate about ways to evolve ongoing processes and programs.
Required Qualifications:High school diploma 5+ years of health care / managed care experience3+ years of provider relations and/or provider network experienceUnderstanding and comfort with working in complex data systems (such as Provider Express, Facets, Cosmos, or other systems)Intermediate level proficiency with MS Word, ExcelAbility to travel regionally occasionally Preferred Qualifications:Undergraduate degreeProficiency in claims processing and issue resolutionExperience with Medicaid regulationsProject management experienceSupervisory / lead experienceCareers with Optum.
