UW Housing & Food Services is looking for multiple Custodians-day shift. Our Team cleans bathrooms, residential floors and our common areas, at various operations around the UW campus, as well as a few office locations. They travel from location to location, so you will need a driver's license to be considered.

This is a day shift, 5 days per week which may include weekends, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Salary range $2,669 - $3,215/month + benefits.
What You'll Be Doing:
Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors; emptying wastebaskets, trash and recycle containers; replacing light bulbs.
Dusting and cleaning walls, doors, windows, woodwork, furniture, etc.
Stripping, cleaning, buffing and applying finish to floors; using high-speed floor buffers/polishers; vacuuming and cleaning carpets.
Using and maintaining assigned power equipment and hand tools such as a vacuum, broom, mop, squeegee, or ladder for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets and furniture.
Vacuuming furniture, drapery and walls.
Securing building when facilities are not in use by checking for unlocked doors and windows; reporting unauthorized occupants.

Work independently with minimal supervision.
Successful work experience as a Custodian or housekeeper.
