The University Registrar responsibilities include:
Designs, implements, and monitors effective and efficient systems for managing registration, enrollment and student information technology systems.
Manages professional and clerical staff.
Provides leadership for planning and implementing effective and efficient procedures for processing grades, awarding degrees, producing transcripts, and for certifying enrollment and completion of degrees
Collaborates with staff and others to develop, apply, and maintain policies and procedures to assure that registration and enrollment management services are understandable, useful, and timely. Responsible for the annual production of the academic catalog. Serve as the institution’s FERPA compliance officer.
Work with the Vice President and in collaboration with student account services and admissions in ensuring Banner Student Module system integrity, developing new functionalities and addressing module security and access issues.
Serves as the ombudsman for students, staff, and faculty in solving enrollment management related problems.
Serves as a member of the Vice President’s leadership team and other relevant University academic councils, cabinets and committees
The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated knowledge and leadership in administration and supervision of student information systems and in analysis and reporting of data.
Ability to identify needs, develop and improve services, and evaluate best practices.
Ability to develop and interpret policy statements, contribute to task force and committee assignments, and to coordinate policy implementation with other administrators and faculty committees.
Familiarity with AACRAO and FERPA policies and guidelines.
Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
Strong belief in student-focused processes, procedures and a commitment to outstanding service.
Understanding of small collegiate work environment.
Significant experience in progressively responsible management positions in higher education, registrar or enrollment management areas highly preferred. Extensive knowledge and work with the Banner student system and related systems highly preferred.
Significant experience in supporting strategic quality and growth goals.
Master’s degree in higher education or student affairs related field and/or a closely related area is required.
