This position is in the Department of Internal Medicine, Business Office. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
Directs and manages the reporting functions for Internal Medicine. Areas of responsibilities include Ad Hoc reporting using DBMS, Pivot Tables and ACCESS databases, or other tools, coordinates Department of Medicine reporting. Serves as central support for all report requests.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as central contact for all department report requests and coordinates requests for school wide data.
Provides ad hoc reporting support for internal use within Internal Medicine.
Establishes standards for acceptable turn-around time. Monitors the volume of reports and completion time
Coordinates the standardization and automation of monthly reimbursement monitoring tools.
Assists in developing monitoring tools for use by Operations within Internal Medicine.
Builds and maintains GE/IDX report templates for monthly GE/IDX report production.
Determines current and long term reporting needs and goals for Internal Medicine.
Must have Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management or finance. Minimum of five years of physician billing and financial analysis experience.
Understanding of IDX/GE software structure and PC spreadsheet skills.
IDX Report Writer/DBMS, IDX, Database Management Systems skills are highly preferred.
Analytical thinker and experienced in financial and systems analysis.
Interpersonal skills with ability to interact with internal and external clients.
The hiring range for this position is $68,577 - $89,190 annually.
