This position reports to the VP, Education and Strategic Initiatives and supervises the association education team of professionals. The director works with the management team and all other staff as needed. The director is responsible for developing, managing and measuring the success of all of ASA's educational content, certification programs, live and virtual events, as well as working with members and SME's to identify and creating new educational opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in education or adult learning (master's preferred), or minimum of 5 years’ experience in directing adult education or professional development programs for a trade association or similar organization
Demonstrated understanding of certification processes
Experience in e-learning a plus
Proven track record in planning successful learning experiences
Demonstrated ability to critique and analyze success of programs
Experience identifying industry and professional presenters and content development
Strong leadership skill and negotiation skills; strong writing and editing abilities
Prior experience developing and managing budgets of $1 million+
Team player; confident in working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to coordinate volunteer efforts; experience managing committees
