Create user-focused websites within the College of Arts and Sciences. Work with graphic designers and project manager and other members of the project team to develop websites in the Drupal Content Management System. Address content management system/module issues and requests. Install content management system modules. Develop themes and views for modules following established coding and security guidelines and procedures. Assist with design for new web page layouts and components; create wireframes, process flow descriptions, and user interface layouts. Work in web cloud hosting for the hosting and security updates. Write system design specifications, process flow descriptions, user interface layouts, and technical specifications. Contribute to web strategy discussions, offer solutions, and perform other tasks related to our dynamic and collaborative approach to web development. Test and debug new and existing web features, services, and pages across browsers, including mobile or responsive designs. Verify that programs and sites comply with current operational procedures and Ohio State policies. Revise user interface and program features based on user feedback. Maintain thorough documentation of all programs and procedures. Stay current with web and accessibility technologies and techniques.
Experience with cloud web hosting (examples: Acquia, Pantheon); experience implementing responsive web designs; knowledge of IT accessibility issues for users with disabilities.
Target Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annually
