Child and Adolescent Clinic, located in Longview and Vancouver, WA, established in 1978, is a private single-specialty pediatric clinic in Southwest Washington State. Each clinic location is less than an hour from ski slopes, beaches, and Portland, Oregon. The location, plus the fact that no hospital call is required, allows the pediatrician to perfectly balance lifestyle and a commitment to quality pediatric care. This position offers to a BC/BE pediatrician the opportunity to work with thirteen pediatricians who together manage their own independent practice that employs 70 people, including two pediatric nurse practitioners. The practice continues to grow at both sites, based on our reputation for quality, family-centered patient care, and open access to new patients regardless of insurance type, public or commercial.
We are a recognized Patient Centered Medical Home, and provide over 40 programs and services including disease management, developmental and behavioral screening, dental fluoride varnish, Reach Out and Read, lactation consultations, visiting pediatric cardiology, neurology, and endocrinology specialists from Portland and Seattle, and Child Psychiatry consultation via telemedicine. We are also able to offer weekly televised CME-approved pediatric grand rounds from Seattle Children’s Hospital.
The clinic building in Longview, owned by the pediatricians, has 3 examination rooms per pediatrician, plus laboratory, x-ray, spirometry and audiology rooms. The Vancouver practice site, also with 3 examination rooms per pediatrician, is on the campus of Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital. Please visit our website http://www.CandAC.com for more information.
We are an approved Federal Student Loan forgiveness site. We offer a competitive guaranteed first year salary including malpractice, health, dental, life and disability insurance, and a retirement plan. After the first year of employment, opportunity exists to become a practice partner.
Child and Adolescent Clinic and all of the pediatricians are committed to long term, ongoing and caring doctor-patient relationships. We promote comprehensive, coordinated, family centered, community based patient care. We are devoted to continuous quality improvement in the management of the practice and patient services.
