Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Psychologist.
The NYUSoM CCE has an open position for a bilingual (Spanish and English) licensed clinical or counseling psychologist. Candidates should have experience and expertise in trauma-related psychology, including the assessment of exposures and outcomes associated with large-scale disasters and provision of evidence-based treatments for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and other co-morbid psychiatric conditions (e.g., mood, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders). We are specifically hiring a fluent Spanish speaker who has experience conducting diagnostic assessment, as well as individual/group psychotherapy in Spanish. This is a per diem, part-time position, 10-15 hours per week, reporting to the Director of the Mental Health Treatment program.
Providing evidence-based individual and group treatment to adult World Trade Center responders with anxiety, mood, and substance abuse disorders
Administering semi-structured clinical interviews for diagnostic and research purposes
Incorporation of patient self-report symptom measures into treatment planning
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Ph.D or PSY.D) Current license as a Psychologist in New York State..
