The Senior Business Improvement Analyst develops and implements business models for efficient and effective operational processes to support partnerships and revenue generation.This position applies in-depth, senior level knowledge, concepts, principles, and skills, and has wide latitude in decision making to interpret unclear or inadequate guidelines. The position proactively resolves broad and unique matters requiring sophisticated analysis and interpretation. Acts as resource to others.

Essential Functions: In collaboration with programmatic leadership, develops strategy, constructs business models, program work plans, long-term goals, and other strategic objectives to build and operationalize the program(s) and advance the mission.
Develops novel strategies to support consistent business practices, measurement of outcomes, achievement, and performance. Assures that financial practices and outcomes are aligned with programmatic and university mission and strategic direction.
Analyzes workflow for major processes associated with development of programs and partnerships that result in formal MOU, contracts, and financial relationships.
Uses innovation to redesign processes to achieve efficiencies and effective use of human technical resources. Identifies approaches for continuous quality improvement.
Monitors programmatic performance and trends as well as financial goals. Aligns standards and practices to support business practices.
Prepares reports, develops databases, and analyzes data that increase data driven decisions in a timely and effective manner.
Provide financial oversight for programmatic budgets by analyzing expenditures with an understanding of the relationship of the program objectives and the budget process, and using cost benefit analysis for budgetary expenditures.
Serves as integral member to support the growth and development of new and existing programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Master's degree in business administration preferred.
Experience : Four years of business process improvement/analysis experience. Licensure/Certification: Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
Other: Masters degree in directly related field may substitute for two years of experience.
