The Department of Pathology, University of Maryland School of Medicine invites applicants for a full-time Surgical and Cytopathology faculty position in the Division of Anatomic Pathology. Clinical responsibilities will include general Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology, as well as, one or two areas of subspecialty expertise. The University of Maryland Medical Center has 757 total licensed beds, 333 intensive care beds, and performs close to 20,000 surgeries per year. The Department has a strong and diverse faculty, excellent training programs, and a very supportive environment for an academic anatomic pathologist. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Board certification in Anatomic Pathology is required. Additional subspecialty training and/or expertise in areas such as Hematopathology, GU, bone and soft tissue pathology is desirable. The successful candidate should have evidence of scholarly achievements and experience in teaching and training medical students, graduate students, residents and fellows.
