Mayo Clinic in Florida is a comprehensive academic medical center with extensive outpatient facilities and a 304-bed hospital where advanced programs in education and research support the highest-quality patient care. Educational experiences are centered in a dynamic learning environment with a diverse solid organ transplant patient population. The program faculty is dedicated to your success and to supporting more than 350 solid organ transplants annually. Your experiences will include: design and management of therapeutic regimens, establishing outcomes and associated monitoring parameters, participation in clinical and operational services that support safe medication use processes, and investigation of a particular facet of transplant pharmacy as a research project. Pharmaceutical care is coordinated by decentralized pharmacists utilizing an integrated, patient-centered practice model, and is supported by advanced automation and technology.
