Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking a Pharmacy Manager of Inventory and Operations to join our team. The Pharmacy Manager assumes responsibility for overseeing assigned pharmacy services and facilitates the development, implementation, advancement, and maintenance of pharmacy services area of responsibility. The candidate promotes desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost effective medication therapies. Serves as a resource to other Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and health care professionals, as well as addresses the learning needs of staff.
This position plans, organizes, directs and monitors the operational and continuous quality improvement activities of the department for medication procurement and storage. It is responsible for establishing standards for quality, productivity and performance for pharmacy operations.
5 years of health care system experience (of which 3 must be pharmacy supervisory experience), or the equivalent preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and possess the ability to set priorities and make critical decisions.
Managerial effectiveness, problem solving, and change management abilities desired.
Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated interpersonal and team skills essential.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
Current unrestricted NH licensure (or eligible)
