Clinical Research and Development (2-year/ 1 position)
PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP – The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, offers innovative post-Pharm.D. fellowships providing comprehensive post-graduate experiences and training in the Pharmaceutical and Bio-pharmaceutical industries. This 2-year fellowship program is a joint collaboration between Rutgers and Pfizer Consumer Health, with program emphasis in Clinical Research and Development. This fellowship is designed to facilitate understanding both on strategic and operational aspects of clinical research. The Fellow will be involved in clinical studies for the development of over-the-counter (OTC) products, medical devices and Rx-to-OTC switches. During the second year of the fellowship, individuals will have the opportunity to work with their preceptor to develop and complete a rotation with another group within the Pfizer enterprise such as Regulatory, Clinical Pharmacology, or Medical Information. University-based experiences include a Professional Development Series as well as opportunities for collaborative clinical research, publication, and teaching. These fellowships provide a broad knowledge base in corporate activities while promoting the role of the Pharm.D. in the Pharmaceutical and Bio-pharmaceutical industries.
