The Field Coordinator for the Hassenfeld Child Health Innovation Institute (HCHII) will oversee all research activities related to the Hassenfeld Birth Cohort research study being conducted at Women & Infants Hospital. He/She will serve as the primary point of contact for study participants and research personnel while acting as a liaison between clinical staff and Project Coordinator. Responsibilities include conducting enrollment and follow-up surveys, coordinating data collection at multiple recruitment sites, project evaluation, and support of research staff. Ideal candidate will have the ability to work with diverse populations, make effective and timely decisions to solve problems, and to monitor activities to ensure compliance with study protocols.
Bachelorâ™s degree in relevant social science field and one year of experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Masters of Public Health or nursing experience preferred, but not required.
Superb analytic and problem solving skills; able to think independently
Strong attention to detail, superior work ethic, professionalism and organizational skills required.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Power-Point, Excel, Email) required.
Experience with online survey programs, such as REDCap or Qualtrics.
Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
Bilingual in Spanish is helpful, but not required.
Experience working in human subjects research preferred.
