The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, (www.me.iastate.edu) invites applications for a Lecturer to teach courses in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in thermofluids, develop related laboratory courses and innovative curricula, and supervise student design projects. Applicants are sought who have strong background and ability both in the science and education of thermofluids and closely related topics.

Required Education and Experience:
1) a B.S. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; and 2) an M.S., PhD, or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; and 3) demonstrated expertise in engineering-relevant thermofluids teaching or training after the completion of the graduate degree.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Demonstrated ability to teach or train undergraduate students.
A record of contribution to scholarly journals in thermofluids or engineering education
